Total Trip Cost: $2,700 (this includes round-trip airfare, lodging, meals and a safari )

12 million Tanzanians live below the poverty line, a number almost unchanged over the last decade. A significant proportion of the population also hover just above the poverty line, and have very limited access to health care, quality education, and a decent standard of living.

Only 16% of Tanzanian children are currently registered at birth, according to the latest Tanzania surveys. And that percentage is even lower in rural areas, making it harder to identify and help children in need. With high child mortality and drop-out rates, there is much work to be done CURA for the world needs your help to give hope to the neglected children of Tanzania.

Join CURA + Mainsprings (formerly JBFC) as we bring a team of doctors, nurses, medical professionals and other volunteers who want to serve those hurting and facing life threatening diseases and illnesses.
